Most people check their stomach from the front, in the mirror. But a waist is three-dimensional, and the fat at your flanks and lower back shapes how it looks from every angle.
We offer 360 liposuction with VASER, treating your abdomen, waist and lower back together in one operation, so your shape changes all the way around.
What 360 Liposuction Treats
360 liposuction treats the fat around your whole midsection, from the front of your stomach to the small of your back. Your surgeon works on three zones:
- The abdomen: your upper and lower stomach.
- The waist: the flanks, often called love handles.
- The lower back: the fat that sits above your hips at the back.
“360” describes where your surgeon works: it is VASER liposuction, carried all the way around. The exact areas vary from one plan to the next, so your surgeon marks the zones yours covers and you know what is included before anything begins.
What 360 Liposuction Costs
360 liposuction starts at ฿120,000, which covers all three zones at ฿40,000 per treated area. The price follows the zones your surgeon marks, so your quote comes at your free consultation.
Three things set it: the number of areas treated, the amount of fat, and whether J-Plasma is added. Your surgeon walks you through each of them before you decide anything.
360 or Abdominal Liposuction?
Abdominal liposuction on its own treats the front of your body: your upper and lower stomach. A 360 adds your waist and lower back, so your outline changes from the side and from behind as well.
Either is available to you. Our VASER liposuction is priced per area, so your plan can cover your abdomen alone or go all the way around. At your consultation, your surgeon shows you how the zones relate, and how far to go is your choice.
Who 360 Liposuction Suits
360 liposuction suits you when the fat sits around your waist rather than at the front alone. It works best when the skin over that fat still springs back and you are at or near a weight you can hold. That matters because your surgeon shapes the result around the body you have now.
It changes your shape rather than your weight, so it is not a route to weight loss.
Your surgeon reviews your health history with you at your consultation, along with how your skin and fat sit, before confirming a plan.
If your skin is loose or your stomach muscles have separated, a tummy tuck treats those, on its own or alongside 360 liposuction.
What Happens on the Day
All surgery takes place at our surgical facility in Ekkamai, Bangkok. The steps are the same whether your plan covers your abdomen alone or all three zones.
- Marking: Your surgeon marks the zones your plan covers, drawing the outline you agreed on onto your skin before anything else happens.
- Anesthesia: Depending on how many areas are treated and your health, your surgeon uses local anesthesia, IV sedation or general anesthesia. Larger plans tend toward sedation or general anesthesia, because a 360 covers several zones that your surgeon turns you between and local anesthetic has a dose limit.
- Fluid, then VASER: Your surgeon first puts in a fluid that numbs the area and limits bleeding. VASER’s ultrasound then loosens the fat from the fibrous tissue it sits in. That helps with firmer, more fibrous fat, which some people have at the flanks and back.
- Removal: VASER loosens the fat but does not take it out. Your surgeon does that next, through a thin tube passed in via small incisions.
- J-Plasma, where planned: If your plan includes it, your surgeon adds J-Plasma, a helium plasma treatment applied under the skin after the fat is removed.
- Garment: You go into a compression garment before you leave the operating room.
How much fat your surgeon removes in one session is planned for shape and safety, and removing more is not always better. Your surgeon sets that limit case by case.
Some plans use a Hi-Def approach, in which your surgeon works the fat around the abdominal muscles more closely. Your surgeon decides at your consultation whether it fits you.
Recovery
Recovery from 360 liposuction comes in phases, and how quickly you move through them depends on the zones treated and how you heal.
- The first days: Expect swelling, and some of it is the fluid your surgeon used during the operation, so you may look bigger before you look smaller. Bruising is common. You wear your garment and start walking early.
- The following weeks: The swelling eases, though some people notice it lasts longer low on the belly.
- The months after: The final shape shows as the last of the swelling clears and your skin settles over the new contour, and how it looks varies from person to person.
Wearing your garment as instructed and following your surgeon’s aftercare helps control swelling and supports healing. Your surgeon gives you your own timeline for work, exercise and garment wear.
Coming to Bangkok for Surgery
Plan to stay in Bangkok for at least 5 days after 360 liposuction, which is when you can usually fly. Keep moving during the flight, and follow your surgeon’s advice on preventing blood clots in the weeks after you get home.
Choose accommodation you would be comfortable resting in, because most of those first days are spent resting.
Follow-up continues after you go home, with video follow-ups at 30, 60 and 120 days after surgery, and our team is contactable any day in between. If your doctor at home needs it, we can give you a written surgical report.
Risks
360 liposuction is surgery and carries the risks surgery does. Your surgeon goes through all of them with you at your consultation, and the ones particular to liposuction include:
- uneven contour or irregularity
- changes in skin sensation, such as numbness
- fluid collecting under the skin
- skin burns, darkening or firm areas
- infection
- blood clots in the legs or lungs
- rarely, fat entering the bloodstream or injury to the organs beneath the abdominal wall
Your surgeon keeps the amount of fat removed in one session within a limit set for safety, and you walk early because moving lowers the risk of clots. The follow-ups then give us the chance to check how you are healing.
