What you pay depends on how many areas you treat.

The full face, and the full face with the neck, are each priced as one operation rather than as separate areas.

Who a Facelift Suits

A facelift suits you if your face has started to sit lower than it used to. Usually that shows as a softer jawline, cheeks that have dropped, or a neck that no longer matches the rest of your face.

You also need to be in reasonable general health. Smoking, a history of keloid scarring and some medical conditions affect whether surgery is safe for you and how well you heal.

Your surgeon checks all of this at your assessment and will tell you plainly if surgery is not the right move.

Meet Our Facelift Surgeon

Dr. Pawalin “Palm” Chuenputhi, MD, Medical Council of Thailand ว.31884, has 21 years of experience and is board certified in both general surgery and plastic surgery.

She earned her medical degree at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. She has since trained in South Korea, Taiwan and the United States in endoscopic facelift techniques and deep-structure facial lifting.

In surgery, she works on the SMAS layer and the tissue that supports it. In some cases she uses an Endotine lift, which works through smaller incisions and shortens recovery. She decides which approach suits you once she has seen how your face sits.

What Happens on the Day

All surgery at KKC Clinic takes place at our surgical facility in Ekkamai. A facelift is carried out under general anesthetic, so you are asleep throughout.

Before the day, your surgeon goes through the plan again: which areas are being treated, where the incisions sit, and what to expect when the dressings come off. On the day itself you arrive, are prepared for surgery, and wake up in recovery with your face dressed.

How long the operation takes depends on how many areas are being treated.

Recovery

Plan for one to two weeks before you are comfortable being seen. Swelling and bruising are part of it, and both settle gradually rather than all at once. Deeper work usually means a longer recovery.

You will see your surgeon for a check and to have your stitches out before you are signed off.

Coming to Bangkok for Surgery

Plan on seven to fourteen days in Bangkok after your surgery. Seven is usually when flying becomes safe again, and the rest of that window covers your first check, your stitches out, and a final review before you travel home.

Facelift or Non-Surgical

The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery puts it plainly: there is no true non-surgical equivalent to a facelift. Non-surgical treatments lift and tighten, and they are worth doing, but they are doing a different job.

If your skin has loosened a little rather than a lot, start with non-surgical lifting and tightening. Ultherapy is where most people begin. Neither needs recovery time, and both can be repeated.

Surgery is the answer once there is skin to remove.
